Our Mission:

The Metanoia Center exists to guide individuals and communities back to The Center—through mindfulness, meditation, spiritual formation, and breath as prayer. We create spaces of healing and transformation where wounds are met with compassion and presence becomes a pathway to wholeness.

Our Vision:

We envision a world where every person—incarcerated or free, burdened or searching—can return to their deepest self and experience the love of God in each breath. Through retreats, teachings, and Christ-centered breathwork, we seek to cultivate lives rooted in peace, action, and change.

Director:

Dr. Jeremiah Braudrick

Dr. Jeremiah Braudrick is an author, professor, podcaster, and certified breathwork facilitator. He also oversees one of the nation’s largest prison ministries, where he regularly invites his incarcerated friends to discover their Center—and the freedom found in accessing the Kingdom of Heaven, which Christ reminds us is both here and within, even behind rolls of razor wire.

Growing up with debilitating asthma, the concept of breath was always a difficult one for him—until he learned the science and the spiritual significance of intentional breathing.

Today, he helps others encounter God through breathwork, centering prayer, meditation, and contemplative Scripture reading.

He lives in Norman, Oklahoma, with his son and their dog.

“In the inner stillness where meditation leads, the Spirit secretly anoints the soul.”
